AMH in Irving, TX is seeking a Field Technician Maintenance to perform repairs, troubleshooting, installation, and routine maintenance at AMH properties, ensuring homes stay functional and safe.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting water heaters, plumbing, garage doors, irrigation, electrical issues, and performing carpentry, drywall, roofing, and fencing tasks; HVAC tune-ups and keeping equipment clean.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; associate degree or technical training a plus.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Residential/Property Maintenance or five years of experience in lieu of education.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is necessary.
  • Experience with an Apple iPad and HVAC preferred.
  • EPA Certification or HVAC Type II Certification required in applicable states.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is necessary.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety methods (OSHA) is required.
