Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking a Field Technician to assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems at client sites. You will ensure installations meet quality standards while following safety guidelines and providing on-site client training.

The role requires strong communication, documentation, and the ability to travel up to 40% for installations, calibrations, and recalls across diverse environments including hospitals, labs, and industrial settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in field service or technical support preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of sensors, devices, and monitoring systems at client facilities.
• Configure equipment according to client specifications and ensure proper functionality.
• Perform tests and inspections to confirm proper operation of installed systems.
• Assemble and configure products ready to be shipped.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, including diagrams, client feedback, and inventory of used equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs, provide updates, and train them on the use of installed equipment as needed.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues that arise during installations.
• Maintain and manage tools and equipment required for installations, reporting any issues or needs for replacement.
