Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking a Field Technician to join our team. You will assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining systems at client sites, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Travel up to 40% to support onsite installations and service visits.

Responsibilities include setup, testing, documentation, and client training on equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous work experience in field service, technical support or related role preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license required to support up to 40% travel for onsite installations, service visits, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems and equipment at client sites.
• Install sensors, devices, and monitoring systems at client facilities.
• Configure equipment according to client specifications and ensure proper functionality.
• Perform tests and inspections to confirm proper operation of installed systems.
• Assemble and configure products ready to be shipped.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, including diagrams, client feedback, and inventory of used equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs, provide updates, and train them on the use of installed equipment as needed.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues that arise during installations.
• Maintain and manage tools and equipment required for installations, reporting any issues or needs for replacement.
