Job summary

Actalent in Nashville, TN is seeking a Field Technician III to support on-site testing, inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical power equipment. The role requires travel, overtime, strong safety awareness, and a commitment to advancing toward NETA certification.

You will work with switchgear, transformers and high/low voltage systems, documenting results and collaborating with the crew lead on site safety and quality at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical power, utility, industrial or related field environment.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing, commissioning or maintenance.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally and regionally to customer sites to support electrical testing and maintenance work.
• Assist with testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining electrical power equipment.
• Work around low, medium and high voltage electrical systems.
• Document test results, maintenance work, repairs and field findings.
• Follow safety policies and participate in job site safety meetings.
