Job summary
Sunstate Equipment seeks a Field Technician III to diagnose and repair diesel equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems. You will perform routine maintenance, document work orders, and ensure equipment meets manufacturer specs.
A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential. Qualified candidates have 4+ years of diesel mechanic experience in construction or rental settings, with Tier 4 systems knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot complex drives and hydraulics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience as diesel mechanic with construction equipment or rental background.
- Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines including Tier 4 and aftertreatment.
- Experience repairing diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine service and inspection, including fluid changes and lubrications.
- Document maintenance activities and warranty records accurately.
