Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. LLC is hiring a Field Mechanic III in Texas. The role requires 4+ years of experience on diesel or heavy equipment, including construction gear and rental fleets.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to manufacturer specs, using your own tools valued around $10,000+. The job offers weekly pay, overtime eligibility, and uniforms/equipment perks. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic with construction equipment or rental background.
• Military experience welcomed when it includes heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience repairing construction equipment, including generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment.
• Must provide own tools averaging $10,000+ in value.
• Basic computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, and service documentation.
• Ability to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus
