Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Field Service Mechanic in Benicia, CA to diagnose, repair and service construction equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability and hands-on repair across electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.

Pay starts at $36.90–$47.50 per hour with weekly pay, Monday–Friday morning shift, and overtime as needed. Benefits include uniforms, boot allowance, and equipment rental perks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
• Experience in electrical, hydraulic and diesel engine repairs.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing equipment (not just preventive maintenance).
• Welding and fabrication is a plus.
• Must own the tools needed to do the job.
• A DOT medical card is required – we can help you obtain one if you don’t have one.
