Job summary

Rain for Rent in the United States seeks a Field Technician II who will lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment at agricultural or industrial sites. You will positively represent the company and build strong customer relations.

You will work with a team to read work orders, select materials, load and unload, inspect equipment, and perform testing and demonstrating equipment to customers as required.

Qualifications

• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Able to use basic measurement tools and calculators.
• Good map reading and distance planning.
• Motivated, a team player with safety in mind and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or instructions to determine tasks and material needs.
• Select pipe sizes and materials according to specs.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment per specs.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools for safety and function before travel.
• Track and report damaged or missing tools to Supervisor.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer sites.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment per specs.
• Inspect, test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges and other methods.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers after install/testing if required.
• Maintain and clean pipe systems, pumps, and related equipment per specs.
• Follow QSE regulations and ensure customer satisfaction before leaving site.
• Promote cooperation with Branch and Corporate personnel.
