Tusco Inc is seeking a Construction Technician II / Physical Security Technician Level II to maintain perimeter security systems at customer sites in Cottondale, AL. The role requires reading prints and schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and replacing parts as needed.

The position involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, using a range of tools, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 yrs in the field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on perimeter security components using prints, drawings, and schematics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service.
• Clean, disassemble, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Record damaged or worn parts and report issues.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns.
• Repair machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare reports of work performed.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Use precision measuring equipment and testing devices.
