Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a hands-on Multi Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of pipeline terminals, pump stations, and related facilities in Montana. The role emphasizes independent troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills, and strict safety standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma, 2 years of relevant training/experience, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include maintenance, calibration, line locating, and coordination of third‑party contractors

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2 years of direct relevant industry training and experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment across pipelines, pump stations, terminals, and measurement facilities to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on pumps, motors, valves, seals, valve actuators, and auxiliary equipment, diagnosing issues and restoring equipment to service efficiently.
  • Execute electrical tasks up to 4160V, including troubleshooting PLCs and verifying/calibrating transmitters, switches, relays, and pressure safety devices.
  • Carry out operations activities such as measurement and sampling, determining crude oil quality, operating pumps, inspecting tanks and facilities, managing rainwater, and receiving/launching pipeline scraper tools.
  • Support damage prevention and integrity by performing line locating, facility inspections, and pipeline operations while maintaining strong housekeeping standards.
  • Operate and maintain mobile and support equipment (e.g., tractors, skid steers, forklifts, ATVs/UTVs, compressors, test equipment, and company vehicles) and complete all required documentation for compliance.
  • Oversee and coordinate work performed by third‑party contractors, support emergency response activities, and participate in an on‑call rotation to respond to operational upsets as needed.
