Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to maintain critical pipeline systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the region. You will balance preventive maintenance with rapid response, collaborating with Mechanical and Electrical Technicians and operations partners.

The role emphasizes craftsmanship, strict adherence to procedures, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Completion of an approved mechanical apprenticeship program or 2 year mechanical technical/vocational degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pipeline mechanical and terminal equipment including pumps, valves, motors, seals, mixers, loading arms and measurement systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and respond to emergencies as a first responder, executing lock‑outs and open‑system job plans safely and effectively.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with DOT regulations, company O&M procedures, and safety standards.
• Complete installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems and components.
