Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician II to maintain and support pipeline facilities across the Southwest Region.

The role is field-based and outdoors, involving troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with regional teams to ensure safe, reliable operations. The position requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in electrical maintenance, valid CMV and driver’s license, and relocation within 40 miles of the reporting location.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical or vocational education in an applicable field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related electrical maintenance experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to reside within, or relocate within, 40 miles of the reporting location.
  • Preferred: Electrical Journeyman certification or participation in an accredited apprenticeship program.
  • Industrial Electrician or Instrumentation experience, including HVAC/R systems.
  • Experience supporting crude oil pipeline systems, pumping stations, terminals, or related energy infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with pumps, motors, valves, flow meters, PLCs, switchgear, motor control centers, UPS systems, and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical equipment to support safe and efficient pipeline operations.
  • Maintain and repair a variety of pipeline facilities and equipment, including motors, switchgear, motor control centers, instrumentation, and related systems.
  • Support capital projects, facility upgrades, and maintenance activities while coordinating with regional operations and technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, maintenance programs, Operator Qualification requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Complete maintenance documentation, inspections, and work orders within Maximo and other required systems.
  • Participate in the maintenance on-call rotation and provide emergency response support as required.
  • Assist with contractor oversight, equipment evaluations, and the acquisition of materials needed to support maintenance and operational activities.
