Job Type & Schedule
Full‑time: Monday–Tuesday 8 AM‑4:30 PM; Wednesday–Thursday 7 AM‑5:30 PM.
Full‑time employees receive a comprehensive compensation package including 100% employer‑paid medical insurance, employee and dependent dental and vision plans, an Employee Assistance Program, ESOP and 401(k) plans, and 8 paid holidays. Paid sick and vacation time are earned on an accrued basis. The pay range for this position is $16.90–$20.00 per hour, offers based on experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform all sampling in accordance with BSK Laboratories sampling procedures and regulatory mandates.
- Store and deliver samples using proper handling techniques and within required time frames.
- Coordinate route stops with the dispatcher to meet client expectations.
- Maintain and document sampling events in a field log book.
- Interact with clients professionally.
- Use safe driving techniques and comply with all traffic laws.
- Manage time constraints to meet daily route assignments.
- Maintain vehicle in coordination with fleet coordinator.
- Maintain stock of bottles, COCs, labels, and instructions in vehicle as required.
- Maintain all safety equipment in vehicle as required.
- Enter and process electronic chain of custodies in the field following SOPs.
- Assist with sample receiving, logging, or bottle preparation when available.
- Attend and receive a certificate from the BSK Sampling class.
- Other duties as assigned by the department manager.
Education and Experience
- Entry‑level with no experience or formal training, high school diploma.
- Two years of college chemistry or related science, or equivalent experience, a plus.
- PC skills required, preferably MS Office applications.
