Job summary

Harness Energy, LLC, a renewal energy field services provider, is seeking a Field Technician I for hands-on work across diverse U.S. sites. You will install, maintain, and diagnose wind and solar equipment, spending 1–2 weeks in the field with hotel stays, and supporting a safety-focused crew.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth exist within the Tier system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required; training provided.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and decommission meteorological towers or remote sensing units.
• Complete daily safety documentation and ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate via Slack with the manager for updates and coordination.
• Log hours daily for DOT compliance and track time in ADP.
• Travel to project sites for extended stays and operate DOT-certified vehicles.
