Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician I to load, unload, and move materials at plant or job sites, lay out and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment. You will represent the company, ensure safety, and support customers with a professional approach.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, selecting materials, performing equipment inspections, and assisting with demonstrations for customers when required. Travel is possible (1–25%), with a focus on teamwork and reliable service.

• Must follow safety policies and report hazards to supervision.
• Ability to work with others and support team goals.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and determine material and equipment needs.
• Select pipe sizes and related materials per specifications.
• Load, secure, and unload materials with appropriate tools and machinery.
• Inspect equipment and tools for safety before travel to sites.
• Track tools and supplies and report damaged or missing items.
• Assemble and secure pipes and fittings per project specs.
• Inspect and test installed systems using gauges and hydrostatic methods.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers after install/testing if required.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.
