Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician I to support our laboratory operations by collecting and delivering samples to the designated lab location, following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
• Above average attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate a Company vehicle and observe all applicable safety protocols and laws.
• Clean driving record (over previous 36 months).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to drive to and from client locations for collecting and retrieving samples, and deliver them to the laboratory.
• Provide exceptional customer service while promoting the Company's brand through professional interactions with clients and observable safe driving practices.
• Collect various types of environmental samples and pick up previously collected samples and deliver them to the laboratory.
• Perform field analyses pertinent to proper sampling protocol such as pH, temperature and flow.
• Maintain sample collection equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain storage of samples in accordance with established SOPs.
