Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a Field Technician I to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, water, and related media. You will travel to customer sites and perform field services, collect and process samples, and document results.

Responsibilities include preparing vehicles and equipment, maintaining logs and forms, and assisting with program reviews to meet operational needs. A strong candidate will have a high school diploma and prefer 1 year in a lab or environmental setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related media.
• Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issues.
• Support the review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet operational and organizational needs.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; escalate issues when needed.
• Contribute to team effectiveness by offering suggestions for improvements.
• Promote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions with customers and coworkers.
