Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in West Virginia is hiring a Field Technician I to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, and water. This full-time role offers Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with travel to client sites as needed and opportunities to develop foundational field knowledge.

You will collect and process samples, operate field equipment, and maintain logs and safety documentation while contributing to quality data and compliant programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental setting preferred.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water).
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for daily field operations and document results.
• Maintain logs, forms and databases accurately and timely.
• Support field/environmental program reviews and compliance.
