Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is looking for a Field Technician I to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, water, and related media in Kentucky. This on-site role provides Monday–Friday hours and a chance to build foundational field knowledge while contributing to critical testing programs.

You will travel to client sites, collect and test samples, prepare equipment, and maintain logs and documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• The ability to travel with some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples across air, soil, water, and related media.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issues.
