Job summary

Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. is hiring for a field role involving outdoor work, vault preparation, and graveside service support. You will load, transport and install concrete burial vaults, assist with tents, and help prepare for graveside ceremonies, always maintaining safety and respect for families.

No experience required — we train the right candidate and expect punctual, dependable service. This is a full-time, on-site role with some overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Close and lower vault after service, assist gravedigger as needed.
• Prep concrete burial vaults as ordered.
• Load, transport and unload burial vaults in company vehicle.
• Install vault into the grave and assemble graveside tents.
• Prepare for graveside service with chairs and decor.
• Maintain daily trip and post-trip logs.
• Keep vehicle and equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Provide a safe, respectful burial presentation for families.
• Communicate service issues to the plant manager promptly.

Our role is to make their burial experience respectful, dignified, and flawless thus allowing them to move forward and grieve. Our company operates 7 days a week to provide service to our customers during difficult times so overtime is available including some evenings, weekends and holidays. No experience required - willing to train.
