Job summary

Ambipar seeks a Field Technician to support field operations, including equipment operation, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, and site remediation. The role requires strict safety adherence and scheduling flexibility to accommodate emergency response and overtime.

Based in Watford City, ND, the position is Full-Time with up to 40% travel. Reports to the Project Supervisor and involves on-call responsibilities for hazmat cleanup and site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid drivers license with no restrictions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hazmat handling certifications.
• Strong safety and compliance focus.
• Able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and vehicles safely according to policies.
• Respond to on-call emergency needs for hazmat and spills.
• Perform site remediation and waste management tasks.
• Enter confined spaces and perform tank cleaning per safety guidelines.
• Work overtime or out-of-town assignments as needed to meet needs.
• Document time sheets and logs accurately.
