Job summary

Charter Communications, operating under the Spectrum brand, is hiring a Field Technician to install and repair services and educate customers on usage. This entry-level role includes training and a clear path for progression within Spectrum, with pay increases through the self-progression plan.

Earn $20.50/hour starting, with opportunities to advance to higher technician levels and to pursue industry certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Schedule: Ability to travel to customer premises and other locations as necessary.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Technical skills: Proficiency with computers and software applications; capable with hand tools.
• Abilities: Communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability.
• Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair services for customers.
• Educate customers on how to use services.
• Work outdoors and travel to various locations; climb ladders and carry tools.
• Maintain professionalism and safety while handling equipment and wiring.
