Job summary

Charter Communications, operating as Spectrum, is hiring a Field Technician to install and repair services and educate customers. This entry-level role provides training and a path to progression, with pay starting around $20.50/hour and opportunities to increase through our self-progression program.

You’ll work outdoors, travel to customer locations, use hand tools and computers, and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel to customer premises and other locations as necessary.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency with computers and software; competent with hand tools.
• Strong communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Physical ability to walk varied terrains, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair services for customers and educate them on use.
• Work outdoors using hand tools and on-the-job training to solve issues.
