Qualifications

• High school diploma with two years of post-high school experience in wildlife, fisheries or related fields.
• Valid Florida driver's license required.
• Must be 18+ and complete a boater safety course on hire.
• Ability to operate boats, motors and trailers independently.
• Experience operating motorboats and trailering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with freshwater fishery monitoring and management activities.
• Conduct creel surveys by interviewing anglers and recording data.
• Perform field work and data entry as part of daily tasks.
• Operate equipment used for sampling and evaluation of fisheries.
• Maintain safety and compliance during field days (10–12 hour days possible).
