Express Employment Professionals is now hiring experienced Oil & Gas Field Technicians for immediate opportunities with a growing company in the energy industry.
This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with experience in oil and gas, pipeline construction, industrial field services, or energy-related projects. Field Technicians will support pipeline pre-commissioning, hydrostatic testing, dewatering, equipment setup, and field operations at project sites.
If you are comfortable traveling, working extended hours, and performing physical work in outdoor environments, this position offers the opportunity to earn up to $26.00 per hour plus per diem when traveling, along with overtime opportunities.
Oil & Gas Field Technician Responsibilities
- Load, unload, carry, and transport industrial hoses, fittings, and field equipment.
- Connect hoses, fittings, and related equipment for pipeline and field operations.
- Assist with hydrostatic testing and pressure testing of pipelines and systems.
- Perform pipeline dewatering and water management activities.
- Assist with equipment setup and breakdown at project sites.
- Support pipeline pre-commissioning and industrial field service activities.
- Work around pumps, hoses, piping, fittings, and other industrial equipment.
- Follow company safety policies, jobsite procedures, and applicable industry requirements.
- Work outdoors in changing weather and jobsite conditions.
- Assist supervisors and field crews with additional project duties as needed.
- Travel to project locations as required.
Field Technician Qualifications
- Previous oil and gas, pipeline, construction, industrial, or field service experience required.
- Pipeline or pre-commissioning experience is a plus.
- Experience with hydrostatic testing, dewatering, hoses, pumps, or related field equipment is preferred.
- SafeLand training or Rig Pass certification is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to safely work around industrial equipment and active jobsites.
- Ability to lift, carry, connect, and move heavy hoses and equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Willing and able to travel for projects.
- Ability to work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and varying schedules based on project requirements.
- Strong safety awareness, reliability, and work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a field crew.
