Job summary

Veridity is hiring Field Technicians to install, inspect, test, commission, maintain, and service fire alarm, detection, and special-hazards fire suppression systems at customer sites. Roles are tiered (I, II, III) based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated ability.

The position involves hands-on technical work, travel up to 90%, and collaboration with project teams to ensure safety and reliability in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, inspect, maintain, and service fire alarm, detection, and special-hazards systems.
• Perform low-voltage and installation activities (conduit, wiring, panels, sensors).
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and specs.
• Conduct inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and repairs per codes and procedures.
• Support programming, configuration, integration, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate field activities with technicians, PM, design, contractors, and customers.
• Complete field reports and project documentation on time and accurately.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain tools and vehicles in safe condition.
• Attend training to develop expertise in fire and life safety systems.
• Provide mentoring to less-experienced technicians as needed.
