Job summary

RION Equipment is seeking a Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a range of RION Equipment models at customer sites and in the field. You will deliver expert service, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and a commitment to continuous learning and safety.

Qualifications

• Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Diagnose and repair major systems: electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, LP, steering, transmissions, and engines.
• Perform tune-ups and preventive maintenance independently.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems on IC and electric trucks.
• Verify warranties and manage core/remanufactured part returns.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and diagnose system issues.
• Repair major systems including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, LP, steering, transmissions and engines.
• Perform tune-ups and preventive maintenance independently.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems on IC and electric trucks.
• Prepare for daily operations by reviewing schedules and checking tools and supplies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and follow company policies.
• Mentor apprentice mechanics through hands-on training.
