Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services in Sacramento, CA, is hiring for an environmental services role focused on waste treatment and disposal operations in our stabilization plant and landfill areas. You will follow federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the work area and supporting safety across the team.

The role requires handling heavy loads, adhering to the Waste Analysis Plan, and submitting samples for lab analysis, with opportunities for growth in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• Confined Space Entry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and fosters safety and efficiency in all Hub employees and activity.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Physical requirements include the ability to do repetitive heavy lifting, (75-100 lbs.), pulling, dragging, digging, etc.
• Visually inspect waste loads during off-loading for non-conformance to waste acceptance conditions and report non-conformity to the Operation’s Supervisor for further direction.
• Visually inspect waste container off-loading to ensure the waste is completely removed from the truck. Report any material remaining inside the container to the Operation’s Supervisor for their disposition.
• Sample incoming containerized loads and treated loads according to the Waste Analysis Plan and submit samples to the laboratory for analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
