Job summary

Pace is seeking a Field Technician to support environmental sampling across air, soil, water, and related media. You will travel to customer sites, collect and test samples, and perform field services with standard environmental practices, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma, potential lab or field experience, and ability to travel with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in related work preferred or an equivalent education/training/experience.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• Ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Comfortable operating a company vehicle with GPS/telematics tracking and safety cameras.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water, and related media).
• Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection and documentation of results.
• Pickup, transport, and delivery of samples, documents, materials and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations and maintain safety equipment.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately.
• Support review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet needs.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations; elevate issues when needed.
