Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Field Technician to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, water, and related media. You’ll travel to customer sites and help collect, process, and test samples, while maintaining logs and safety practices.

As a full-time role, you’ll join a mission-driven team that enhances environmental science, with opportunities to grow skills in field operations, data collection, and client service across a nationwide lab network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• The ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related media.
• Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issues.
• Support the review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet operational and organizational needs.
