Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Middleborough, MA is seeking a driver to pick up and deliver environmental samples to and from the service center. The role includes visiting local businesses and households to collect drinking water samples for testing, with multiple samples per day and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will work Monday–Friday with overtime as needed, requiring a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Computer skills are required.
• A valid state issued driver’s license is required for driving responsibilities with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs (samples stored in coolers with ice).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

This role is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of environmental samples to and from the service center. Will pick up and drop off samples, deliver bottles for sampling. Responsible for visiting local businesses and residentials homes to collect drinking water samples for testing. Travels to collect multiple samples per day. Works and communicates with personnel. Disposes of samples and hazardous waste according to guidelines. Assists with custodial duties such as breaking down boxes, taking out trash, running errands, and other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to prioritize
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Will need to be comfortable with computer and data entry

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Schedule is Monday - Friday with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Middleboro, MA are encouraged to apply.

Pay rate: $19/hr.
