Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Laboratory / Administrative Support to join our team. Responsibilities include receiving and opening packages, logging and labeling samples, QC before lab processing, and answering client calls to relay status information.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, rapid typing, strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Excellent typing skills (50+ WPM) and strong communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and reading/comprehension accuracy.
• Experience in sample receiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and open packages.
• Login of all samples in a timely manner.
• Label all samples.
• QC of samples/projects prior to sending into the laboratory.
• Interact with clients and answer incoming phone calls.
• Report status information to clients.
• Communicate with clients for clarification of analysis requested.
• Forward project information to the appropriate Client Relation Executive.
• Maintain necessary supplies for sample receiving.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory / Administrative Support to join our team!

• Responsible for maintaining the necessary supplies for sample receiving
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• HS diploma or G.E.D.
• Good typewriting skills, over 50 WPM
• Good communication skills
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Attention to detail experience
• Experience working in a fast paced, production, retail or food service environment
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Experience in Sample Receiving preferred

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with overtime and weekends as needed.

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base compensation of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
