Intertek-PSI is seeking an entry-level Field Technician in Houston to perform testing and observations on construction materials. You will operate equipment, review drawings and specifications, and document findings with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with reliable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and work overtime as needed.
• Able to lift 30-50 pounds frequently; occasionally more with assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
