Qualifications

• At least 2 years of soils and concrete testing experience.
• Hands-on Troxler Nuclear Density Gauge experience.
• Understanding of standard soils and concrete testing methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and testing of soils, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Perform soils and concrete laboratory testing per standard methods.
• Operate and maintain a Troxler density gauge.
• Prepare clear field reports and test results.
• Maintain organized field and lab records.
• Communicate with contractors, inspectors, engineers, and project personnel.
• Travel to sites in the Sacramento/Roseville/Rocklin area and surrounding regions.
