Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete, verify density, moisture, and temperature, and document results the same day. We sponsor ACI and nuclear gauge certifications and provide structured field training. This is outdoor, physical work across various sites with travel as needed.

Pay ranges from $18 to $28 per hour, with overtime when schedules require. You will learn to read jobsites, interact with superintendents, and grow into advanced

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather at sites.
• Willingness to train and obtain certifications as you progress.
• Ability to read site conditions and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM standards.
• Run field density and moisture tests and prepare daily reports.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
