Job summary

SUMMIT ECS, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Field Technician for their Greenville, South Carolina branch. This full-time position involves various construction materials testing and special inspections. Ideal candidates have up to 2 years of relevant experience and a Civil Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of Construction Materials and/or Inspection experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ACI, ICC, NICET, NCDOT and/or SCDOT is a plus.
• Engineer in Training required for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field and/or laboratory tests.
• Conduct field compaction testing, sampling, and observation of soils, stone, and asphalt.
• Complete accurate and detailed field testing reports.
