Job summary

Intelligent Wellhead Systems (IWS) is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our team in the Carlsbad, NM area. You will install, configure, train and support IWS control and data systems at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates reliably.

Travel to remote sites, work independently, and generate field reports; 2+ years in oil & gas field service, strong computer skills, and ability to adapt to changing environments are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' oil & gas well completion service experience.
• Field operations and maintenance knowledge.
• Willingness to travel/away from home.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers daily via in-person and written reports.
• Install and configure electrical, mechanical hardware and software at customer sites.
• Configure network devices for the inVision systems.
• Train customers and third-party personnel to use IWS equipment.
• Generate field reports and perform light data analysis.
• Maintenance and repair of electronic, electrical, and computer-based equipment.
• Rig-up/rig-out equipment and maintain organization of differing type of equipment.
• Hands-on and remote field support for customers and third-party services at customer sites.
• Work independently to self-dispatch to remote locations.
