Job summary

Intelligent Wellhead Systems (IWS) is seeking a full-time Field Technician to install, configure, train, and service IWS control and data systems at customer sites in the Midland, Carlsbad, Jal areas and beyond.

You will interact with customers daily, perform equipment setup, remote and on-site support, and generate field reports while working away from home when required. Prior oil and gas field experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years oil and gas field service experience.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home as required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic data reporting.
• Ability to install, configure, train, and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers daily through in-person, verbal and written interactions.
• Install and set up electrical, mechanical hardware, and software at customer sites.
• Configure network devices related to the inVision systems with training.
• Train customers and third-party personnel to use IWS equipment.
• Generate field reports, gather data, and perform light data analysis.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment with training.
• Rig-up/rig-out equipment and organize field assets.
• Provide hands-on and remote field support on customer sites.
• Work independently to self-dispatch to remote locations.
