Job summary

The Compacter Repair Technician position involves repairing and maintaining compactors to maximize operations. This role requires performing preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems, and occasional travel to customer locations within the region.

Qualifications

• Required: Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance on compactors.
• Preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
• Travel to customer locations within Region to repair containers.
