Job summary

Clearwater Solutions, LLC. is seeking a field technician to perform meter readings and data collection at residential and commercial locations in Alabama. You will review service orders, read meters, and log data accurately while following regulatory requirements.

The role requires independent work, a valid driver's license, and attention to detail. Weekend, overtime, and on-call duties may be necessary as part of coverage for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records required.
• 1 year experience in water distribution, maintenance or servicing industry preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Weekend, overtime and on-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Review service orders to determine meter reading locations.
• Read water meters and enter data in route logs.
• Maintain paperwork and logs per regulations.
• Inspect meters and connections for defects or damages.
• Repair and/or replace broken water mains and service lines.
• Communicate meter problems or incorrect readings to the Project Manager.
• Operate a company vehicle to conduct meter readings.
• Connect and disconnect utility services as directed.
• Maintain utility log book data.
• Perform general landscape maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
