Job summary

Fast Park & Relax is seeking a skilled, hands-on Field Technician to join our headquarters team in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will help maintain quality, consistency, and compliance across a wide range of facility maintenance, improvement, and infrastructure projects throughout our portfolio.

You’ll perform quality control reviews, oversee MM+ construction projects, and coordinate with contractors to obtain bids, refine scope, and develop value-engineering ideas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Construction Management or Civil Engineering credits or degree is a plus.
• 1+ years of site work, pond construction and/or asphalt.
• 1+ years working in construction.
• Outdoor work 60%+ with occasional office work.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review and testing for construction projects.
• Review activities and provide oversight on MM+ construction projects.
• Conduct site assessments at each Fast Park site annually determining R&M scope.
• Meet with contractors to obtain bids, refine scope and develop value-engineering ideas.
• Collaborate with consultants to work through construction issues and site problems.
• Field observation and testing supervision for site work, parking lot development, electrical, pond construction and building.
• Ensure compliance of project scope docs and all drawings.
• Review, understand, and interpret project plans, shop drawings, product data, and RFIs.

Working closely with company leadership and facility management, this role will help maintain quality, consistency, and compliance across a wide range of facility maintenance, improvement, and infrastructure projects throughout our portfolio.

What You'll Do:

• Perform quality control review and testing for construction projects
• Review activities and provide oversight on MM+ construction projects
• Conduct site assessments at each Fast Park site annually determining R&M scope
• Meet with contractors across our portfolio to obtain bids, refine scope and develop value-engineering ideas.
• Collaborate with the Fast Park team of consultants to work through construction issues, on-site asphalt problems and more
• Field observation and testing supervision for site work, parking lot development, electrical, pond construction and building
• Ensure compliance of project scope documentation and all drawings including but not limited to civil, mechanical, electrical, landscaping, architectural, etc.
• Review, understand, and interpret project plans and specifications, shop drawings, product data, and RFIs
• Completion of field documentation including project field reports, photo documentation, site plan updates and monitoring, and chain-of-custody forms

QualificationsWhat You Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Construction Management or Civil Engineering credits or degree is a plus
• 1 or more years of experience with site work, pond construction and/or asphalt
• 1 or more years working in construction
• Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment (60% of week) and office environment
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodations
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must look forward to traveling the Fast Park footprint, working in a collaborative environment and being responsible for multiple projects
