Job summary

Gravity is seeking a Field Technician 1 to provide delivery and setup of rental equipment at customer locations, and to perform preventative maintenance in the field.

The role requires safe operation of company vehicles, adherence to safety policies, and completion of trainings; you will handle on-call duties and respond quickly to service needs while maintaining high levels of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, sets up, swaps, and fuels equipment at customer locations.
• Operates company vehicles pulling trailers and equipment safely.
• Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment.
• Completes starting and charging repairs on ICE-powered equipment.
• Uses electrical tools and safety devices per policy.
• Completes required safety trainings and on-call duties.
• Adheres to ethics, honesty, and integrity in all tasks.
• Assists with on-call cell phone duties as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Field Technician 1 provides delivery and setup of the Company's rental equipment to customer locations. Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment in the field in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Works with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
• Delivers, sets up, swaps, and fuels equipment on customer locations.
• Operates Company vehicles pulling trailers and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
• Completes starting and charging repairs on ICE (internal combustible engine) powered equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment.
• Uses all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
• Follows procedures to complete Short Service Employee requirements.
• Completes all required monthly safety and equipment-related trainings.
• Answers Company-issued cell phone during on call hours, in accordance with Company and safety policies.
• Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
