Job summary

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is seeking a safety-focused Field Technician/General Labor to join our dynamic team in the Midwest. You will perform hands-on work with hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck operations while prioritizing health and safety.

The position

What You Will Be Doing

Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority.
• Work with designated company representatives to learn and understand all safety, operational, and company rules, regulations, and responsibilities.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck operation.
• Assist in the setup and tear down of the job site.Perform all work as directed by the supervisor or leadership personnel.

Essential Skills/Qualifications

• Use of respirators (including fit testing) may be required based on specific customer needs to meet project safety requirements.

Essential Physical Job Functions

• Follow and distinguish emergency signals and instructions.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl.
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dusty, and wet conditions for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters.
• Be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as respirators, safety glasses, approved steel-toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection.
• Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms at elevated heights.
• Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
