Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. is seeking a Diesel or Automotive Technician for field positions to service diesel engines and construction equipment, with training and specialty tools provided to succeed in Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience, the ability to communicate with customers, and be prepared to pass DOT and CDL-related tests. This is a hands-on field role with overtime as needed and opportunities across 29 locations.

Qualifications

• Must meet DOT physical and licensing requirements as mandated by law.
• Ability to pass CDL/test for field service driving a service truck.

Job description

Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Diesel or Automotive Technician for field positions working on Diesel engines or construction equipment as well as other supporting equipment.

Position Summary

The focus of this position will be to provide Diesel Engine and other mechanical repairs on a wide range of customers from the mining, construction, and paving industries. Cleveland Brothers will provide you with the necessary training and specialty tools to be successful as a technician working for the largest equipment company in Pennsylvania.

The successful applicant must have relevant working experience and be able to operate and maintain all types of earthmoving and construction equipment. The successful candidate must also have good human relations skills and abilities as well as the personality to successfully communicate, and problem solve with customers. Customer satisfaction is of primary concern.

Primary Responsibilities

• A strong mechanical aptitude, the willingness to learn, a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Candidate must meet the Department of Transportation physical examination and licensing requirements as mandated by law.
• The successful candidate will be required to pass a driver's physical and if in a field service role, all applicable tests associated with CDL and driving a service truck.
• Wide range of various working experience is acceptable to the company including technical schools, military background and or job experience.
• Work overtime as needed

As a technician you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions.
