Job summary

Latitudeinc is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, configure, and service personal emergency response systems in client homes across the Baltimore region. The role requires traveling to homes, maintaining device functionality, and providing patient, friendly support to seniors and individuals with disabilities.

You will troubleshoot basic device issues, handle service requests, and communicate professionally with clients and internal staff.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service personal emergency response systems in client homes.
• Reset or replace equipment as needed and ensure devices are functioning properly.
• Provide friendly and patient support to seniors and individuals with disabilities.
• Troubleshoot basic device issues and respond to service requests.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and internal staff.
• Occasionally assist with training or supporting technicians in other regions (travel expenses covered).
• Respond to equipment‑related service calls when scheduled.
• Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel within the Baltimore region.
• Comfortable driving to service locations, including occasional longer trips (up to 2–3 hours round trip).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with seniors in their homes.
• Ability to work independently and manage appointments efficiently.
• Basic technical comfort with electronic devices (training provided).
