Job summary

Qualifications

  • IICRC WRT or ASD certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise water technicians during restoration projects.
  • Assess water damage and develop mitigation plans.
  • Oversee water extraction, drying, moisture monitoring, and related restoration services.
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and care of equipment and tools.
  • Accurately document project progress, moisture readings, photos, and service records.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and internal team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior technicians.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency restoration services as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Position Overview

As the FieldWater Technician, you will oversee water-related restoration projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing technicians in the field, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently, communicating with customers, and maintaining the highest standards of service. You will lead by example, provide technical guidance, and help develop the next generation of restoration professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise water technicians during restoration and mitigation projects.

Assess water damage and develop effective mitigation plans.

Perform and oversee water extraction, structural drying, moisture monitoring, and related restoration services.

Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and care of equipment and tools.

Accurately document project progress, moisture readings, photos, and service records.

Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and internal team members.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Train, mentor, and support junior technicians.

Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency restoration services as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in water restoration, water mitigation, treatment, or related utility services.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of moisture detection equipment, structural drying, and water restoration techniques.

IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, or other relevant certifications) strongly preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work, including working in confined spaces.
