across a variety of project sites. This position is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work with
cutting-edge technology and are willing to travel extensively to diverse locations. Successful candidates
will undergo comprehensive training to effectively operate our specialized equipment, including drones,
laser scanners, and specialized cameras.
As a Field Technician, you will play an integral role in data collection, site surveying, and project
management, helping us deliver high-quality survey data to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
○ Conduct regular, extended travel assignments often lasting, but not limited to, 1-4 weeks
at a time. Travel will be both domestic and, potentially, international.
○ You’ll be responsible for adhering to travel logistics, including transportation and
accommodation for various project sites.
○ Operate a range of advanced equipment, including 3D cameras, 360 cameras, drones, and
laser scanning systems, to capture high-resolution images and spatial data.
○ Collect precise and accurate data that will be used in delivering cutting-edge solutions to
our clients.
○ Follow detailed Scopes of Work (SOW) to ensure data is captured according to project
specifications.
○ Perform site-specific measurements, document data, and update project files with
revisions as required.
○ Maintain clear and professional communication with on-site personnel, project managers,

○ Manage and process survey data, uploading collected data, performing document
mark-ups, and ensuring proper integration of survey results into project management
systems.
Required Qualifications:
- 21 years or older: This is due to travel-related conditions and driving requirements.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively, including both domestic and international,
for extended periods of time.
- Physical Endurance: Ability to work on-site for long hours, including activities such as
standing, crouching, climbing ladders, and other physical tasks.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Surveying & Scanning Experience:
○ Experience with conventional surveying techniques or laser scanning is a plus but not
required. Familiarity with reality capture or related technology is highly advantageous.
○ Strong mechanical and technical skills, especially in electronics or computer systems, are
desirable for maintaining equipment and troubleshooting in the field.
○ Possession of an FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License is preferred, along with experience
operating drones for photogrammetry, orthomosaic captures, or related applications.
○ A valid U.S. passport is required for potential international travel to various project
locations.
○ Proficiency in Spanish, French, or other languages is a plus for international projects.
Compensation and Benefits:
○ $23.00 per hour for onsite work.
○ $15.00 per hour for driving time.
○ Bi-weekly payments via direct deposit.
○ $55 per day for meals during travel assignments. Higher per diem rates are provided for
high-impact areas.
○ If opted into the personal car program, we offer a daily rate of $35 per day for the use of
personal vehicles.
○ Paid time off for holidays as part of the benefits package.
○ These include: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and
