Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to service material handling equipment at customer sites in Fresno, CA.

You will travel in a fully equipped service vehicle, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and keep equipment running at peak uptime while delivering professional customer service. The ideal candidate has hands-on repair experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment in the material handling field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and laptop diagnostic tools.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must provide your own tools.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Field Technician, you will work on material handling equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Moderate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word and familiarity with laptop based diagnostic equipment.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation: $34.48-51.72/hr (Depending on Experience)
