Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. in Spokane, WA is seeking a Field Technician to service material handling equipment at customer locations.

You will diagnose and repair to keep equipment running at peak uptime and travel in a fully equipped service vehicle. This role requires hands-on mechanical work, strong communication with customers, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with little supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing material handling equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation with ability to work with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL preferred.
• Must provide your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites to maximize uptime.
• Travel in a Pape’ service vehicle to perform top-quality service on equipment.
• Interact with customers and ensure jobs are completed correctly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Field Technician, you will work on material handling equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation

$28-38/hr (Depending on Experience)
