Job summary

Jacam-Catalyst is seeking a hands-on field support and analytics role to provide samples, repairs and chemical inventory to customers. You will drive indoors and outdoors, read data and support Account Managers while cultivating strong customer relationships.

The position requires lifting 50 pounds, strong English communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Safety practices and compliance are essential in day-to-day duties.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and one or two years’ experience.
• Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful and credible in the workplace.
• Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging.
• Tip and move 55 gallon drums weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of a drum dolly.
• A history of earning additional responsibility.
• Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instruction, and take responsibility for own actions.
• Show a commitment to doing the best job possible.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides hands-on field support and analytics to Account Managers and customers. Provide samples, repairs and chemical inventory to Jacam. Cultivate goodwill with customer.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee could be faced with working in temperature extremes. Employee must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S Monitor as required or needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws.
• Have the ability to fluently read, write, and speak in English. -
• Adhere to guidelines, policies and procedures as described in the Jacam handbook.
• Adhere to Jacam’s Drug and Alcohol policy and agrees to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment.
• Express ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form. Exhibit excellent listening skills.
• Provide excellent customer service skills with customers and field office personnel.
• Work well independently and in a team atmosphere.
• Run field samples and then be able to read and analyze data for Account Managers.
• Collect critical customer information to improve customer product and supplier relationships.
